Research Scientist (AAV Vector Optimization

Essential Qualifications

  • PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, immunology, virology, microbiology, bioengineering, or a related discipline
  • Able to pursue projects in the lab independently
  • Experience cloning
  • Experience in mammalian cell culture

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AAV vectors
  • Background in virology
  • Skills including real-time PCR, ultracentrifugation

Responsibilities

  • Optimization of adeno-associated virus (AAV) vectors
  • Must be comfortable working in a BSL2+ lab
  • Preparation of quantitative analyses of data
